The Manager HR is to give support to the organization in all human resources matters including recruitment and selection, benefit and compensation management, training and development in order to attain its goals. Getting the most from its human capital while reducing the cost to the organization. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Formulation, development and implementation of Human Resource Policies;
- Analyzing existing personnel policies and recommending changes to the management ;
- Assessment of staff training needs and the type of training;
- Human Resource Planning, Recruitment, Selection and Placement; Develop effective instruments to evaluate potential candidate to ensure ideal candidates are hired (low turnover, high performance, highly satisfied employee, employee matched to job responsibility and culture, etc)
- Conducting preliminary interviews;
- Benefit/compensation plans / salary structure bands formulation and arrangement ; determining their suitability and cost effectiveness
- Issuance of offer letters, appointment letters, achievement letters, office orders, circulations, termination letters etc.;
- Preparation of job descriptions;
- Develop and implement the quarterly, semi-annual and annual performance evaluation system;
- Develop, co-ordinate and implement annual objectives setting program
- Employee movements such as transfer, promotion, demotion, resignation and termination;
- Employee Discipline, Complaints and Grievances;
- Develop and Conduct in-house/awareness sessions on policies and procedures, i.e., employees orientation programs;
- Maintenance of Employees records;
- Co-ordinate and administer staff recruitment, logistics (advertising, short-listing of CVs, inviting candidates etc.)
- Ensure employees are aware of management's concerns, requirements and complaints and vice versa.
Work Conditions
- No 9-5 mentality.
- Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
- Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with Universities administration, arranging on-campus hiring and giving presentations to the university/institutional students.
