Job Description:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for the best and brightest transcribers to become part of our team. You will be reporting directly to the department manager, and your work will be screened and passed through QA. You will have a chance to watch informative TV shows and transcribe the written word according to set guidelines. Training will be provided.

Job Description
  • Transcribe video for broadcast programming.
Job Requirements:
  • Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, especially English punctuation
  • Must have excellent research skills to be able to research spellings of uncommon words, places, events, etc
  • Must have excellent general knowledge.
  • Ability to understand various English accents.
  • Must be on time and follow strict deadlines
  • Familiarity of MS Word and 60+ wpm typing speed.

Educational Requirements:
  • At least a Bachelors degree. MA or MS in English Literature/Linguistic preferred.
  • Clearance of SAT, TOEFL or IELTS a plus
Experience:
Not required. However, experience in medical or any other form of transcription a definite plus.
