• Develop workforce force automation and operational workflow/support system to meet the needs of the operational units of the Power Distribution Companies (DISCO).
• Assist in the development of interfaces with auxiliary input devices, the new CIS, and the legacy COBOL billing system and, new billing system (which is being developed in the Oracle tools).
• Participate in the testing of software during all stages of development and installation.
• Training DISCO personnel responsible for data entry and retrieval, and the cyclical operations of the system.
• Provide user support throughout the implementation period and initial operations of the system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• University degree in Computer Science
• Minimum of 6 years software development IT experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Oracle JDeveloper required
• Oracle DB experience required
• Billing software and CIS experience a plus
• Proficient in English, writing and speaking; with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
