- Ensure the implementation of quality Psychosocial and protection programs in return areas through direct program oversight as well as training and capacity-building of staff.
- To develop and implement the gender strategy and to monitor and evaluate the gender mainstreaming process within the organization
- With the approval of the competent authority, represent the organization and it's program at professional meetings, conferences etc. that are deemed to be useful to the organization.
- Supervise Psychosocial and protection activities for women and girls (recreational, basic hygiene education, child rights…) implemented in WCCs.
- Work with the community and staff to identify and plan appropriate activities.
- Work with team to further develop existing program activities.
- Manage staff and provide technical support to the others expatriates when needed.
- Develop appropriate program materials and tools for psychosocial activities, including women activities and support to most vulnerable female headed families.
- Together with selected staff and volunteers, mobilize support for program interventions.
- Identify and acquire appropriate program materials for psychosocial activities.
- Develop and conduct short term and on-going training on basic principles when dealing with women affected by conflict or natural catastrophe, including basic principles behind community based psychosocial interventions, and other key skills needed for program implementation.
- Monitor program activities and prepare weekly, monthly reports.
