·        Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.

·         Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the Territory / segment.

·         Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, and interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

·         Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

·         He is responsible to create and maintain customer database at his end.

·         To keep control of company assets in the market place.

·         To ensure that stock is delivered by salesman / Delivery man to the retailers as per order booked by him.

·         He is responsible for communicating company’s policies regarding credit terms and cash recovery to the customers.

·         To keep close coordination with salesman while delivery of stocks in market on daily basis.

·         To keep a close checks on expiry of stocks during shop to shop visits (Order taking).

·         To give direction/ guidance to salesman as per route plan according to sale.

·         He is responsible to arrange and display stocks on an outlet in an orderly & good manner

·         To ensure that POS is displayed clearly and in orderly manner on the shops.

·         To check the availability of stocks in outlets.  Replenishment / order taking should be made in case of shortage / non availability of stocks on priority.

·         To keep salesman wise sale record on daily basis.

·         He is responsible for any shortage of cash by the salesman during route settlement in the evening (in other words recovery of shortage would be made by order booker on behalf of salesman).

·         To make his full effort to meet the monthly sales target.

·         Focus on target and maintain to achieve it in time with vigilance.

·         Study the market trends and take steps for improvement to increase the sales and minimize the complaints.

 

·         To keep an eye on company offered schemes / promotions for fair / transparent provision to end consumer.

·         To convince the shopkeepers professionally for promotion and display of our brand.

·         To prepare market coverage report on daily basis and make sure its submission to the distribution staff by evening for the arrangement of stocks.

·         To keep an eye on competitors market strategy regarding promotion and display of your brand.
