Job Description:

· Coordinates and executes all domestic/international shipments; works closely with all vendors and ensures that shipments are handled as per the clients requirements (all customer routing instructions are being followed).

· Monitors Outbound/Inbound schedules and coordinates with warehouse, documentation department and other departments to ensure on-time clearance and delivery.

· Assists through the administrative process, in execution of all import/export shipments to and from company while maintaining best possible service standard at competitive cost.

· Investigates and determines possible routes of customer shipments and negotiates rates accordingly.

· Facilitates and expedites communication between clients, carriers, handling agents, suppliers, and internal departments such as Sales and Customer Services to establish best service possible.

· Ensures billings are captured and updated in the system within 24 hours from the time job is completed.

· Any other related duties/projects assigned by the management from time to time in order to meet business needs.

 
Skills Required:
 
Fluency in English

Thorough knowledge of local export handling carrier regulations

Knowledge of local Export/Import procedures

Knowledge of shipment load-ability and compatibility

Knowledge of Special Cargo (Dangerous Cargo, Perishable, Live Animals etc)

Negotiation skills / Good communication skills

Computer Skills

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Tactfulness and politeness

Punctuality

Efficiency and accountability

Ability to focus and bring tasks to completion

Ability to develop and sustain good working relationships with
the clients

Flexibility in the working hours
