MRI TECHNOLOGIST

Highly experienced – more than 10 years- trained MRI tech needed to be workflow coordinator for a teleradiology company

1. Full night time position - 12 hour shift- 7 days on – 7 days off – from 10 pm to 10 am – absolutely cannot work a day time job while on duty for the week.

2. Excellent english speaking capability is a must

3. Excellent customer service orientation

4. Ensure quality of radiology reports

5. Interact with reading radiologists to ensure proper reports are being made

6. Take questions from imaging centers about proper MRI technique, contrast allergy, mri device safety

7. Rank reading radiologists on their quality of reports

8. Perform a QA process on reports for medical accuracy

9. Manage report cycle to ensure accurate reports are turned around on time to the imaging centers

10. Manage a QA process in place to ensure its working properly

11. Make continual improvement in workflow and radiology reports turnaround after studying and understanding the workflow

12. Perform root cause analysis after each incident

13. Setup and run a radiology report monthly qa process and document in monthly journal

14. Continually maintain feedback to the radiologists for reports needing corrections

15. Make weekly performance reports on QA process and personel

16. Manage reading schedules of radiologists

17. Understand whom to assign studies and why – learn to recognize which radiologists are good at which accounts and their strengths and weaknesses

18. Develop written rules for assigning studies and how this task affects the revenue of the company – seek permission from supervisor prior to making any changes in study assigning rules

19. Must be highly organized, be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates, and to create a positive productive work environment for all participants in the radiology report cycle

20. Maintain honesty, integrity, accountability at each point of work

21. Be able to provide suggestions and maintain open lines of communications with the central office
