We are looking for Android and/or IOS Developers to build top-notch mobile apps on part-time basis. Shift timings will start at 8:00PM and selected candidates will be required to work for 4-5 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Play a lead role in the design and development of RadPits Social tablet and mobile applications
- Build best-in-class applications on tablet and mobile devices
- Collaborate closely with other developers, designers and visionary’s to define innovative UI and functionalities optimized for mobile platforms
- Investigate and resolve application issues, bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Identify and resolve compatibility issues between the wide range of Android and IOS versions and devices
- Lead by example and produce high quality native code that establishes coding standards and best practices for the team
- Work with other teams across the company to utilize and establish best practices for mobile development
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers on the team
- Deliver high quality work on tight schedules
- Experience leading development of complex and highly responsive mobile applications that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Proficiency using Java, Object C, HTML, CSS and JavaScript in mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, databases and complexity analysis
- Understanding of system and application performance limits and characteristics
- Knowledge of Android and IOS native software design patterns, including the ones needed to develop connected sensors applications with high-performing UI
- Extensive knowledge of memory management and multi-threading
- Ability to translate concept designs into user interfaces on mobile devices
- Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience working on high-volume consumer mobile products
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
- Ability to wear many hats, able to change direction quickly, and eagerness to learn new things
- Committed to mentoring and learning from others
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of Android and/or IOS application development experience
Developed and launched highly rated apps (3.5+) to the App Store
