- Sound understanding of relational database concepts and implementation
- MySQL database creation, complex query design & optimization
- Have a strong understanding of OOP, OOD & strong problem solving skills
- Good to have knowledge of Web services / SOAP / XML
- Knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript / JQuery preferred
- Experience coding for and testing content /layout in multiple browsers
- Ability to translate business requirements into system design
- Ability to partner and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Strong debugging skills with ability to easily and quickly read,write and modify code
- Comprehension of Front End standards, best-practices, and technologies
