Research Officer
Reform Options is a recently established organization dedicated to the cause of bringing concrete and comprehensive public policy options to the fore. Current work is related with Electoral Systems and Constitutional Design.
Reform Options is seeking an outstanding researcher to assist with development of media reports in relation to incentives created by the various permutations and combinations of electoral system designs. We are looking for a part-time or full-time Researcher.
The selection criteria includes
- Strong conceptual orientation, especially of (non) democratic forces in societies
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, analyze, infer, deduce, conclude, assess, conceptualize and hypothesize
- Experience in gathering and compiling relevant data, context and theories
- Passion for editorial perfection. Impeccable grammar and word usage in English language
- Ability to write effectively, clearly, and with impact on the intended audience
- Ability to communicate purposefully and comprehensively with conviction, including in conference calls
- Ability to use IT technology for work purposes
- Knowledge of Pakistans political history
- Coursework in relevant discipline such as Political Science, Public Management, Economics, Law or equivalent
- A track record of excellence
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience
