Key job functions include:
- Delivering seamless, client side applications for both web and mobile platforms using CSS. HTML and JavaScript
- Taking custom designs from creative/UX specialists and producing clean, standards compliant code
- Testing and debugging new front end implementations across multiple browsers and platforms
- Scoping and estimating
- Developing prototypes for new pitches
- Researching emerging trends and technologies
- Clearly articulating ideas and novel solutions to front end design challenges
- Responsive design, cross platform/browser optimisation, web standards
- Experience with Developing Magento Themes
- Object Orientated design/development
- HTML5 and CSS3
- JavaScript and jQuery
- CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Compass
- Templating languages e.g. Twig (preferred)
- Version control e.g. Git
- Excellent communication skills
- Agile development
- Android, iOS
- RESTful web services and APIs
