Job Description The PHP Software Engineer will be working on established PHP frameworks to develop complex software applications mainly web based, but not limited to, in addition to modifying and maintaining existing software. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience of PHP coding and documentation best practices.
Essential Skills Required: - Software Engineering academic background.
- Experience/Knowledge of developing web based applications.
- Good communication ability,analytical skills and a highly professional attitude are essential, as there will be substantial business contact with end-users.
- Evaluate and perform tradeoffs regarding the architecture and software components.
- Experience in writing custom web services (SOAP, JSON, etc) Javascript and JQuery is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of Apache and its configuration on Linux and/or windows platforms.
- Experience with PHP (Object Oriented Programming and MVC pattern)
Database driven apps development using MySQL and Oracle. - Good experience with any ofstable and widely accepted PHP Frameworks (MVC based) such as Zend, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Yii etc.
