The Montessori Teacher is a guide who helps direct his/her students activities academically, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment that challenges each child to reach his/her full potential in these developmental areas, in accordance with Montessori philosophy and procedures.
Ability to keep the Montessori / pre school environment to the required standard.
Competent in Arts & Craft
Knowledge:
- Childcare knowledge
- Ability to plan ahead
- Knowledge of the required Health & Safety and Policy & Procedures standards in a Montessori /Pre-School setting
Qualifications:
Montessori diploma from a recognized Montessori Institute preffered
Other Personal Attributes required:
- Sincere and genuine love of children
- To be self motivated and ability to motivate others
- Good organizational skills
- Computer skills an advantage
