Job Description:

1.0 JOB DESCRIPTION

Position

POSITION OBJECTIVES

To implement GFATM R9 HIV AIDS project activities by establishing CHBC site working in collaboration with PRs, SRs and by using implementation and quality assurance plans and tools for the project.

3.0

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND TASKS

3.1 Core Responsibilities & Duties

1. Prepare/verify cash payments for program related activities,

2. Handle petty cash receipts & disbursements

3. Prepare daily petty cashbook in Microsoft excel

4. Follow up and ensure timely adjustment of operational advances

5. Assist in the preparation of CHBC monthly financial report

6. Prepare/verify cash payments.

7. Supports regular maintenance of records, documentation, etc. of the finance section

8. Completes all necessary paperwork to enable authorization for payments

9. Supports the finance section in preparing timely monthly accounts

10. Supports the elaboration/calculation of travel claims

11. Assists Finance department for any task assigned

12. Data and documentation verification

13. Accuracy of data and documentation

14. Responsible for all admin related tasks at CHBC site

15. Any other task as assigned by Supervisor

3.2 Occasional Significant Duties

  • Support in organizing project related events/meetings/workshops
  • As assigned by Project Senior Officer

4.0 JOB SPECIFICATION (MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS)

Education

  • MBA/M.Com
  • Total Work Experience (In Yrs)
  • 2-3 year
  • Sector Experience (In Yrs)
  • 2 years experience in HIV AIDS
Skills:
  • Coordination, procurement, logistical arrangement, financial management, book keeping and record keeping skills
  • Basic Ms office and Excel skills and any financial software
  • Able to travel to field on regular basis

5.0 DECISION-MAKING & AUTHORITY

This position requires some decision making.

6.0 PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

1. Maintain all bills and other financial record on regular basis
