Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate preparation of detailed implementation plan in collaboration with relevant project partners, especially DoH, DHDCs and CM partner.
  • Plan, organize and conduct trainings for various cadres in project districts as per training strategy
  • Maintain databank of training of Health Care Providers and generate reports regularly to Save the Childrens Deputy Director Health/Senior Manager and National Training Manager on the progress of training activities as per the implementation plan.
  • Supervise quality control of the trainings and ensure smooth logistic supply of training material and supplies

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • MBBS
  • Demonstrated 3-5 years of overall experience as a resource person; and a minimum of 02 years specific development sector experience
  • Communication Skills
  • Computer Literate–Microsoft Office

  • Manner that promotes gender equality, democratic decision-making and is all-inclusive
  • Promote and adhere to the principles and objectives of Save the Children
  • Coordinate process of Identification and coordination of target communities and mobilize community groups
  • Aware and facilitate communities and conduct meetings with community members including children, parents, teachers etc.
  • Liaise and work with community groups to ensure accountability and best use of project resources
  • Actively support Nutrition Coordinator in smooth implementation of sectoral initiatives
  • Weekly reporting on progress
  • Comply with the requirements of Save the Children’s Child Protection Policy to ensure maximum protection for children
  • Undertakes any other tasks assigned by supervisor
