Job Description - Assist in the development of the emergency and rehabilitation education program in field level and implement programmatic activities effectively.
- Carry out school assessments within field areas
- Assist in planning of distributions of educational items
- Carry out distribution of educational items
- Monitoring and facilitation of schools
- Assist in the evaluation of the Emergency Education Program
- Aware and mobilize communities and conduct meetings with community members including children, parents, teachers etc.
- Aware and mobilize PTC of schools on their roles and responsibilities.
- Written and verbal reporting on progress as well as other relevant education and child protection issues within the team and across sectors
- Coordinate with other team members including the Education Advisor and with other Save the Children teams
- Assist the Education Advisor and other ERRP Education Program staff in all other issues related to the development and implementation of the emergency and rehabilitation education program
Requirements - Graduate
- Demonstrated 2-3 years of overall experience; and a minimum of 1 year of specific sector experience
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate
- Excellent team player
