Job Description:

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

· Ensure the recommended Protocols of the project are displayed and implemented in the targeted districts

· Assist the community coordinator in designing and implementing community outreach activities/programs by evaluating needs of the community groups in line with project objectives.

· Supervise the work of community learning workers (CLWs) at the schools and community level

· Working as an active member of the district project teams to ensure effective implementation of the community mobilization activities

· Conduct regular field visits to implement and monitor agreed activities

· Keeping close liaison with stakeholders at the district level and engage in active dialogue with PTCs

· Arrange and supervise trainings as per the need and demand of project team in the districts

· Assist the community coordinator in developing community component strategy for ECCE

· Preparation of monthly progress reports on the agreed format

· Develop time to time case studies and lessons learnt in the field.

· Any other job assigned by Community Outreach Coordinator.

Skills Required:
 
Masters/Bachelors Degree in social sciences
2-3 years of experience in Community Mobilization preferably with INGOs
Ability to work in challenging environment
Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
Proficient in report writing and documentation
Knowledge of local languages will be an added advantage

Understanding of Community Mobilization and participation strategies
