|
Job Description - Will ensure quality implementation of DRR Projects and consistency with the standards and guidelines of Save the Children International.
- Coordinate with Disaster Management Authorities at various levels including DDMA and other line department members to ensure the effective execution of project activities.
- Prepare and send monthly progress reports to DRR manager and contribute in developing new concept papers/proposals for DRR mainstreaming into other sectors and development interventions.
- Identify/develop relationship and build coalition with similar institutions/organizations, various ministries, line departments, DDMAs and all the stakeholders.
- Will be responsible for all DRR related, technical tasks in the Region and will furthermore ensure that all technical Drafts (Proposals, Plans, and reports, Assessments, Case Studies, Lessons Learnt and Best Practices etc) are of the highest quality before reaching the Sr. Manager DRR/EP.
- Will be working very closely with CP, Education, Health and FSL staff, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), PDMA, NDMA, department of education, health and other relevant departments and its decentralized structures in promoting DRR/M.
- Strictly follow and comply with all Save the Children Policies and Procedures.
- Undertake any other task assign by the supervisor.
Requirements - Degree or equivalent experience in education, social work and or other relevant discipline

- Sector Experience (In Yrs) 2
- Experience of implementing best practices
- Strong interpersonal & team building skills and excellence as a team player
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
