|
Job Description - Develop appropriate need assessment tools and conduct need assessment to determine the need of C/FFW schemes.
- Conduct baseline and technical surveys, design and cost estimation on and ensure a high technical quality of the C/FFW projects.
- Verification of the appropriate standard and quantity of materials used in community Infrastructure, Irrigation channels and link roads.
- Assist in the design and implementation of complementary rehabilitation interventions (including livelihoods, DRR & emergency preparedness, etc.)
- Labor management according to the agreed work norms in C/FFW schemes.
- Conduct assessment of Cash/Food for Work schemes.
- Preparation of BOQs and IPRs for contracting out civil works at SC supported schemes.
- Supervision of civil works at SC supported Cash/Food for work schemes.
- Field visits for quality assurance and monitoring effective constructions of C/FFW schemes
- Prepare and send monthly technical reports to supervisor.
- Support in social mobilization around technical issues when applicable
- Assist the field coordinator- Food in assuring quality of all aspects of reconstruction and repair civil works at all Sc supported infrastructure schemes.
- Frequent visits to other districts in Lower Sindh.
Requirements - Education Bachelors; Diploma in civil Engineering
- Work Experience (In Yrs) 3 years
- Industry Experience (In Yrs) 3 year
- Ability and willingness to travel to other districts in lower Sindh.
- Proficient in the use of MS office, assessment for civil works and preparation of BOQs
- Proficient in English, Urdu & sindhi (preferably)
