Job Description

  • Monitor the transportation's of all commodities from warehouse to the final distribution points
  • To monitor that all type of loss from loading, off-loading, transporting, storing and distribution are properly documented and reported.
  • To monitor the stock of commodities in comparison with records (sock register).
  • Make sure physical counts of the warehouse is taken & dispatched on a fortnight basis
  • Monitor that information concerning food distribution schedules are disseminated well in advance to the relevant beneficiary.
  • Assist and monitor that appropriate distribution of commodities to eligible recipients/beneficiaries according to the approved distribution plan and as per ration size.
  • Randomly monitor the distributed commodities with beneficiaries after received from the distribution points.
  • Monitor that all non-distributed commodities at the end of the distribution period are documented and returned to the warehouse, accompanied with a waybill.
  • Ensure all commodity dispatch, delivery, distribution and loss documents are made correctly.
  • Follows all Save the Children policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

  • Skills related to participatory research methods, computer literacy, and financial management.
