Job Description
  • To assist Livelihoods Officer in maintaining beneficiaries data in soft and hard forms.
  • Responsible for logistics assessment and arrangement for field teams.
  • Create, maintain and update electronic database for documents, maps, beneficiary listing and other administrative documents.
  • Prepare and maintain records of internal and external communications including e-mails, letters, PRs and other relevant documents.
  • Attend department meetings, prepare agendas and circulate.
  • Support field team in maintaining project records, compilation of project updates/fact sheets at field office and beneficiary records for provision of up to date information to field team.
  • Weekly reporting of progress as well as collecting background information for concept papers and proposals.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in rural development, natural resource management, agriculture or related discipline
  • Demonstrated 2 years of overall experience; and a minimum of 1 year of specific development sector experience
  • Excellent computer knowledge and report writing skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in insecure environments
  • Ability and willingness to travel
