Food Security & Livelihoods Assistant

Job Description

• Maintain and update Livelihoods project files including all relevant documents like proposals, reports, project updates, beneficiary lists, maps, photographs etc
• Provide support with compiling, editing and finalizing information material for including donor reports, case studies, visual contents
• Secretarial support in documenting and drafting project updates, fact sheets and success stories
• Creates, maintain and updates electronic databases for documents, maps, beneficiary listing and other administrative documents
• Preparation and maintaining records of internal and external communications including emails, letters, purchase requisitions and other relevant documents
• Facilitate beneficiaries in effective utilization of grants which they receive under different interventions related to livelihoods
• Comply with the requirements of Save the Children’s Child Protection Policy to ensure maximum protection for children
• Other duties as required in line with your experience, skills and role

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Rural Development, Natural Resource Management, Agriculture or other related field
• Demonstrated 1-2years of overall experience; and a 1-2 years specific development sector experience
• Good writing and communication skills
• Good command of computer programmes
