Job Description

  • Closely coordinate with the Islamabad office on all HR related matters
  • Cope with HR related issues/concerns in an uncertain/insecure environment at all times
  • Organize orientation sessions for new recruits on a biweekly basis
  • Become the focal HR person for all field staff

o Counsel them as and when required

o Keep note of any complaints arising on a frequent basis and rectify them accordingly

  • Ensure that a transparent, unbiased and fair recruitment system is in place
  • Plan recruitment for all new positions arising

o Prepare a weekly schedule of interviews

o Ensure finalized candidates are brought on board

  • Participate in interviews
  • Share recruitment updates with the Islamabad office on a weekly basis for: Sitreps, Management Information pack etc
  • Proactively keep a close eye on expiring grants, vacant positions, new positions/grants, allocation so as to avoid under-hiring/over-hiring. In this regard, keep track of the following:

o Existing positions that become vacant as a result of voluntary/involuntary terminations

o Charging of employees to grants i.e. Time Allocation

o New positions arising as a result of new grants

  • Ensure timely submission of the respective fields effort report on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure that the respective field areas organogram is up-to-date at all times for onward use
  • Prepare monthly Change in Payroll for the respective field area

Requirements

  • Ms/MBA Preferably in HRM
  • Demonstrated 3-4 years of overall experience; and a minimum of 2-3 years of specific sector experience
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skill
  • Good organization and file handling
  • Excellent coordination skills
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to field sites
