Job Description:
- To develop overall MEAL Framework for the Field office
- To ensure that MEAL is infused in all of SC emergency response interventions to provide effective support to program units
- To implement and manage MEAL systems at field level including collating, compiling, analyzing program learning and subsequent reporting on all SC response interventions
- To develop, implement and manage Accountability to Beneficiaries mechanism by introducing such system which facilitates beneficiaries to register timely complaints and give them access to share their feedback on SC interventions
- To carry out preliminary investigation of complaints of serious nature to facilitate management for informed decision making regarding constituting investigation committee
- To organize learning events and workshop for program units to document lesson learnt, good practices and areas of improvement
- To technically backstop other MEAL team members in prioritizing monitoring visits, generating monitoring reports, conducting debrief sessions and developing action plans for program improvement
- To ensure effective management of data on Complaint and Response, Monitoring Action Plan Tracker and other related MEAL tools
- To identify capacity building events for MEAL staff members for system strengthening and sharing of learning
- Any other tasks given by line manager
Requirements: - Masters Degree in social sciences.
- 3-5 years of monitoring evaluation, accountability and learning experience.
- At least 1-2 years coordinator or manager level experience preferably with INGOs.
- Expertise in databases, MS Office and other analysis software such as SPSS.
- Ability to work under pressure and adjust to difficult living and working condition.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in report writing and documentation.
- Knowledge of local languages will be an added advantage.
