Job Description:

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • To develop monitoring and evaluation system for nation/province wide campaign which focuses popular mobilization and advocacy at district, provincial and national level
  • To monitor and evaluate advocacy and popular mobilization events
  • To assess and evaluate campaign messages disseminated through media (including electronic, print and social media) and popular mobilization
  • To assess and evaluate synchronization of media and popular mobilization components in order to document effectiveness of strategies used for advocacy campaign
  • To capture learning from advocacy events for timely decision making to improve advocacy interventions;
  • To document level of ownership for advocacy events at district, provincial (particular focus on KP) and national level;
  • To document efficiency and effectiveness of Working Groups (WGs) at provincial level which will include govt. officials, representatives from UN, donors, religious leaders, civil society and Save the Children
  • To support/undertake impact evaluation of advocacy campaign in order to capture political commitment, govt. initiatives, increase financial investment, provision of more vaccinators, expanded responsibilities of targeted heath workers and awareness level of civil society organization
  • Any other task assigned by line manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s Degree in social sciences
  • 3 years of M&E experience including 2years of advocacy campaign M&E experience
  • Expertise in MS Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and adjust to difficult living and working condition
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation.
  • Knowledge of local languages will be an added advantage
