Job Description

  • Overseeing the project management, review and finalization of program and project proposals, in coordination with the Program Sector Specialist, and ensuring that proposals are well written and include strong logical content. Must have understanding of logical frameworks.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the timely and accurate submission of donor reports.
  • Producing accurate and engaging situation reports about Pakistan emergency responses as per the sitrep schedule.
  • Developing and updating emergency team management information system.
  • Produce other information materials, such as fact sheets and program briefs, where necessary

Requirements

  • Master Degree in Mass Communication or any related degree.
  • 5 years minimum directly related experience, particularly in writing and editing high quality communications outputs: high quality project proposals and donor reports, situation reports, fact sheets, briefings.
  • Experience in managing large amounts of information, and able to triangulate information quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent command of English language and writing skills is a must.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure, in an emergency response context.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, particularly in terms of outputs (for timely submission of proposals, donor reports and sitreps).
  • Project Management experience is preferred.
  • Able to live and work in a challenging environment, and willingness to travel to all emergency-affected areas (in line with security recommendations)
