|
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - To assist Senior Security Coordinator in having security plans/annexes/appendices updated and maintained.
- To report incidents on a timely basis.
- To give security briefings and share security alerts and updates by e-mail, SMS and phone.
- To inform staff members of security precautions to be taken during fields visits and official travel.
- Attend security meetings as and when required, brief on current security situation and plan.
- Orient staff on evacuation plans, drills and procedures regarding emergencies.
- In consultation with department heads appoint security wardens to guide department staff on security procedures in case of an emergency.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Graduate degree.
- Demonstrated 3-5 years of overall experience; and a minimum of 3 years specific development sector experience.
- Excellent Computer Knowledge
- Good oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- Pro-active, persuasive and ability to handle pressure and work under stress
- Demonstrated ability to work in insecure environments
