|
Job Description - Conduct training programmes at the community level for Children Club (CC)s and Village Disaster Management Committees (VDMCs) and cover Hazard, Risk, Vulnerability and Capacity assessment (HRVCA); DRR, Child Protection, life Skill and safety measures.
- Develop training reports and share with Project Coordinator.
- Facilitate and provide technical support to the Village Disaster Management Committees in conducting Hazard, Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment and also in development of Preparedness Plan.
- Ensure availability and distribution of IEC material at the District and Community Level.
- Provide regular and follow up support to communities organizations on CB-DRR activities.
- Organize and facilitate Trainings for the capacity building of DDMA and line departments on DRR, Child Protection, child rights and referral mechanism.
Requirements
- Degree in social work, development studies, sociology or anthropology related disciplines
- Total Work Experience (In Yrs) 3
- Sector Experience (In Yrs) 1
- Experience of implementing best practices
- Strong interpersonal & team building skills and excellence as a team player
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
