Job Description - Assist in off-loading of stock delivered to warehouse
- Arrange stacks according to item or lot in an orderly manner for easy access and safe storage
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and order in the physical running of warehouses
- Update Stock Bin cards upon receipt or issue of stock items
- Locate and hire casual labor for loading and unloading when necessary
- Assist in regular inventory counts of stock items
- Prepare delivery notes for drivers
- Assist in day-to-day allocation of trucks and other transport
- Assist in entering data into computerized warehouse inventory when necessary
- Accompany drivers when delivering stock when requested
Requirements - Graduation or equivalent
- Demonstrated 1 year of overall work experience; and at least 6 months of specific sector experience
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel(Advanced)
- Demonstrated stock management systems skills
