|
Job Profile:We are looking for an ambitious Linux Systems Administrator who is creative and hard working, to join a small team providing support to both software engineering and operations teams. The role will focus on finding solutions to multiple ad-hoc issues, while working on projects which contribute towards the team’s broader project goals. Required Experience: - Must have a degree in computer sciences.
- Must have minimum 3 years experience in System Administration especially in Linux environments.
- Must be proficient and have good communication skills, in-depth knowledge of hardware and Network, Linux, CISCO.
Main Responsibilities:- Quality Implementations, Installation, Configuration, Deployment, Maintenance, Performance Diagnostics, Tuning, Migration, Upgrading, Backup & Recovery Set-up with End User Support.
- Writing backup, installation, kickstart & automation scripts in bash.
- SSL, Virtual Hosting, security, PHP, LDAP, Squid, Java Containers & ftp configurations.
- Source Code Management including branching, tagging and versioning using SVN.
- Database Installation & Management including backup, recovery strategy (Oracle / MySQL)
- Co-ordination with client regarding Network/Hardware Configurations and deployment procedures.
- Creating VPNs, ACLs, PPPoE over Cisco/Juniper Routers and Firewalls.
- Knowledge of Windows OS and troubleshooting would be a plus.
