Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
Oversee implementation of NWA Response Emergency Education Project in Bannu
Provide technical guidance to implementing partner(s) for project implementation in consultation with Education Coordinator
Orient implementing partner(s) to IRC’s procedures
Participate in recruitment process to ensure technical expertise
Reviews work plans and report for implementing partner(s)
Participate in meetings with Director of Projects FATA, Directorate of Education FATA, Agency Education office and Political administration for sharing the program objectives and progress.
Organize monthly and as needed partner(s) meeting for progress and challenges sharing
Provide feedback on partner’s achievements, budget and spending plans.
Ensure all INEE and SPHERE standards in place during project design and implementation
- Perform other duties, as needed or requested.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Ensure that all project activities are continually monitored with reference to the relevant action plans, with reviews of progress and budget on a monthly basis following the submission of monthly field reports.
- Monitor and evaluate program progress, impact and sustainability in collaboration with the M&E Manager, via periodic field visits. In particular, ensure that capacity building activities are adequate and effective.
Coordination - Represent IRC team & projects to visitors, donors in absence of education coordinator
Skills
Education:
Masters in Education or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum three years of Managerial Experience in education projects. Experience of project implementing through partner will have additional value.
Skills:
Excellent communication, Report writing skills and fluency in English
PREFERENCE:
Preference will be given to Emergency Education Experience. Women are encouraged to apply.
