Job Overview/Summary:
The Senior Information and Community Mobilization Officer, under the supervision of the senior manager will be responsible for ensuring that mobilization officers and Information officers are properly conducting community mobilization and information sharing activities as per plan developed under his supervision.
Furthermore, the Senior Information and community mobilization officer, will technically support the mobilization officers and Information officers and will ensure that the staff has enough capacity to produce qualitative and quantitative results. Senior ICMO will also support staff for developing and strengthening networking with community based structures and service providers.
Major Responsibilities:
To develop work plans with teams for social mobilization and information activities and share with supervisor for feedback.
Design and implement participatory approach and tools to support staff for mobilization of communities.
Technical support under supervision staff to establish community-based networks and conduct initial needs assessments for further identification of beneficiaries for other services within the scope of the program
To ensure that staff implement beneficiary identification criteria neutrally and effectively for program’s services and interventions
Support and assist in conducting of mobilization activities, stakeholders meeting, awareness session and community to increase community participation in the programme especially retention of AGs and PCs in WCCs activities.
Establish a standardized mobilization work plan to be implemented which will cover over all activities especially community meeting, community forum and other approaches to community mobilization and awareness.
Participate in regular meetings with community members and stakeholders to discuss program objectives, mobilize community participation and act as a mentor throughout the planning and implementation processes
Development key message and information for the community and IDPs as per the need of programme and IDPs.
Dissemination of information to IDPs on programme and as per their need.
Coordinate and liaison with other WPE team member to ensure community participatipon in the WPE programme.
Listing of data and information from the field as required by the WPE programe.
To build the capacity of under supervision staff so that they will be able to conduct regular awareness raising sessions for mobilization and organizations
Technical support to committees, volunteers through capacity building trainings and continuous feedback
Build and strengthened coordination with service providers and community structures
Develop and design community mobilization activities, recreational exercises with children, youth, women in the social protection centers in close coordination of teams.
To monitor field activities and share proper timely feedback with team for achieving targets.
Documentation and Reporting
Ensure effective and efficient data collection on beneficiaries
Ensure that all project documents are properly recorded and updated.
Submit all agreed reports on time to supervisor.

Perform any other duties as may be requested by the supervisor
Education: Master degree in social science
Experience: At least three years of experience of implementation of community mobilization project.
Skills:
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Knowledge of protection, women protection, GBV, national law and/or human rights principles
Familiar with participatory development and communication tools
Computer skills including Word, Excel
Ability to handle multiple tasks; proven self-initiative and problem solving abilities;
Willingness to travel within Pakistan;
Having skill of staff management and taking initiatives
Having skills of team leading
