Job Type: Three Years Renewable Contract
Purpose:
To manage fundraising activities and provide the research analytical, conceptual, and writing skills needed to identify donors, understand calls, and write proposals with which to secure funding for the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Manage and identify donor opportunities presented by or explored with bilateral, multilateral, trusts and foundations, corporate foundations, government of Pakistan and corporates.
- Identify information and support documents, required to furnish proposal requirements. Ensure its timely and proper communication to the team members.
- Develop concept notes and proposals for a sound and credible projects based on Organization’s strategy, approach and donor interest and requirements.
- Liaise closely with Monitoring, Evaluation & Research and Communication & Media units to gather data, develop brochures / communications information and develop, review and revise various Organization strategies as required.
- Liaise with and support finance unit in preparation of budget that reflects proposed activities and complies with donor requirements.
- Manage data for donor outreach information.
Required Qualification:
- Minimum 16 years of education in social sciences or related disciplines from HEC recognized / reputed foreign university.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience of working with national/local/INGOs governmental and other private sector organizations. Prior experience of writing winning proposals and contracts would be a plus.
- Familiarity with requirements of donors
- Strong program design skills, including capacity to manage and prepare logical and coherent documents including log frames, budgets, development plans, business model.
- A thorough understanding of interventions of Organization-mobilization, health and education, livelihoods, water and infrastructure and disaster management and ability to write on it
Required Competencies:
- Well planned and organized with the capacity to take initiative and decision making.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills to swift through funding opportunities and analyze information, understand calls for proposal and TORs and present these in a coherent and succinct form.
- Ability to work in a team including working with consortium of diverse organization and coordinate and synthesize information, including technical and financial information.
- Able to communicate clearly and sensitively with external stakeholders.
- Possess strong computer literacy / presentation / report writing / data management and communication skills.
- Must be a good Team player.
