The HTML/CSS integrator participates in the development of new websites as well as the maintenance of existing sites. He is responsible for the integration and updating of content (text, images, animation) in multiple web pages. He is also accountable for slicing and adapting the different design source files to transform them into functional web pages. At all times, the HTML/CSS integrator must make sure that the code is adapted to the projects needs, while keeping it light, reusable and based on W3C standards. Responsibilities and Duties - Convert designs from Photoshop to HTML/CSS · Integrate HTML/CSS into CMS and Frameworks such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, OpenCart etc · Ability to read and write HTML/CSS/JavaScript code without depending on software
- Good time management and prioritizing · Actively take part in and contribute to team work
Skills and Specifications - Experience integrating web applications, with hands-on experience of HTML/CSS/JavaScript · Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (such as JQuery) highly preferred · Experience with WordPress, Joomla and Drupal
- Exposure to digital imaging and illustration with Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks for image slicing · Proven track record of successfully starting, building & finishing large and small Web 2.0 projects · Creativity and imagination · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology · Ability to work individually or in a team to beat tight deadlines · Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of international web standards and protocols
- Knowledge of PHP coding will be an added advantage
