Summary:
The Inventory Officer at SSC is responsible for ensuring the availability of in-season stocks at the stores and to prevent any stock outs. It requires collaboration with the supply chain network to ensure that the stocks are delivered on time.
Role and Responsibilities:
To ensure that the stocks are allocated efficiently and that reorders are placed timely to prevent stock outs.
Key Result Areas:
Allocate stock at category levels for the assigned units to the stores from the Distribution Centers.
Prepare allocation plans to ensure correct in-season replenishment of SKUs in the stores.
Track stock levels of the assigned category and arrange for the transfer of inventory from the warehouses to the stores.
Ensure the availability of never-out-of-stock items at the stores.
Manage the reductions on stock for fast liquidations.
Connect the planners to the retail stores and provide relevant inventory data for analysis.
Critical Dimensions:
Allocate inventory stocks to stores efficiently to avoid any stock outs.
Ensure that there are no stock outs especially for NOS SKUs.
Actively track the sales and movement of stocks to ensure the availability of real time data.
