REPORTS TO: Team Lead Automation
Summary:
- SharePoint Developer will provide support in the implementation of technology within SSC and will support the Team Lead Automation in ensuring the streamlined operation of the IT Development Department in alignment with the business objectives of SSC.
- The jobholder will assist in the planning, coordination, direction, and design of IT Development-Automation related activities of the organization, as well as providing support for daily operational activities of the Automation Function.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To provide assistance in the Development of business applications and Automation (falling within ambit of Applications Development & Automation) within SSC, application configurations, ensuring change requests of business users are taken care of, operational support, user trainings, documentation.
- Contribute to the success of the IT Development department by supporting the Team Lead Automation in supervising and coordinating the activities of the Development to ensure professional and efficient IT services and support are provided to all those within the organization.
- Development and Automation of various Business Functions with SSC
- Business requirement and finalization of the solution Design and Implementation
- Training of Business Users
- Responsible for related training material and configuration documentation
- Provide generalized applications development support
- System Administration
- Results required from the job within specified timelines
- Must be a Team Player
- Adherence to Project plan timelines
- Managing business requirements as per changing business scenarios
- Strong documentation and interpersonal skills with a tenacity for problem resolution and solution design
- Additional skills required would be good trouble shooting and problem solving skills, strong communication skills, organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Education Required
Bachelors in Computer Science with Good business knowledge or Masters in Business Administration, Information Systems, or relevant discipline
Experience & Skills Required
- Overall 05 years development related experience with at least 04 years full life cycle Development/Web Development Experience in the following areas is required
- Expertise in Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5/4.0, ASP .NET using C#, MVC, Entity Framework
- Expertise with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012 including Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, AJAX and JQuery
- Expertise in writing Queries and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server
- Expertise in writing Queries and stored procedures in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Must have Strong Database Design and Development Concepts
- Must have Experience of Query Optimization
- Strong Skills for using coding standard methodologies
- Expertise in writing Web Services (Preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Design Patterns and how they are used in Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
- Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 installation & Administration
- Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010
- Form Development in Infopath 2010
- Custom Web Parts development
- Expertise in Developing Workflows
- SharePoint Content Management & MasterPage Customization Skills
