  • Definition of the anticorrosion strategy using CP/ COATING / PAINTING / CHEMICAL TREATMENT/ CRA (corrosion resistant alloy) in order to optimize quality and costs.

  • Issuing of engineering corrosion philosophy document including pipeline and Topside equipment review. Interface with Equipment / Electrical/ Instrumental engineering disciplines

  • Transfer of the corrosion strategy to the discipline responsible of CP / Painting and Coating design.

  • Design of the chemical treatment and CRA.

  • Interfacing with Installation Engineering Functions to solve the anti-corrosion problems of different projects.

  • Definition of laboratory experimental work in corrosion field.

  • Check the condition of machines after opening from wooden boxes and inspect each one and also make damage report of the machines

  • Check each one parts of machines before assembly such as extruders, Shot blaster, cooling towers and internal painting and shot blasting machines.

  • Verify the exact installation place of the machines according to drawing.

  • Inspection of rotary and stationary equipments

  • Verify the maximum capacity of the each one machines such as water pump, shot blaster, Epoxy unit, adhesive extruder, polyethylene extruder, internal shot blaster & internal coating.

  • Check the hydraulic cylinders such as pistons and length and ensure that hydraulic cylinder is properly up and down during commissioning.

  • Make a list of all spare parts of the coating plant local & imported which are required in future.
