Assistant Production Manager (APM) required in a Leather Tannery.
We are a export oriented Leather Tannery. We need a person to manage everyday production in a systemised way with proper documentation of progress of various lots and various functions on each lot on daily basis so everything gets done on-time, every-time.
Results of daily activity is strictly monitored on documents and computer. The candidate should work to improve the Management Information System with other members of the team so inefficencies can be removed and work flow should be improved.
Other members of the team are supervisors who handle the machine operators, contractors, employees and labour. APM has to deal with the supervisors only and report to senior management.
All delays and rework which cause loss or increase costs need to be reduced continously. APM has to be very vigilant in this.
We are short of a few machine in-house, therefore we need some of the processes to be carried out in other factories around our factory (for the time being), therefore own bike is a must.
Must be able to understand, read and write clearly in English. Atleast Metric Pass. Should be very, very proactive. No Prior Leather experience required.
We are growing rapidly and we want the Assistant Production Manager to grow with us into the future.
