Qualification:
- Graduation with diploma in Hotel & Catering Management.
- Preferably Masters in Food services Management / Hospitality Management / Culinary Services or relevant field.
Experience:
- At least 6-8 years experience of food service management along with significant exposure at Managerial level in renowned health care/ hospitality setup.
- Working experience in a Four or Five Star hotel will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of ISO 22000/ HACCP & JCI standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of departmental policies and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2008 /JCIA.
- Manages the department to provide nutritional food and quality services to all hospitalized patients, visitors of hospital and employees.
- Supervises all food service-related activities; including patient care, non-patient care (retail, cafeteria, catering, etc.), quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all hospital-related activities.
- Analysis of departmental strategies and operational policies and procedures with a focus on best practices and latest trends in the field of food & nutrition.
- Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety.
- Maintain the professional growth & development by keeping abreast of latest trends in the field of food & nutrition services.
- Knowledge of all relevant health & safety regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and improve patient satisfaction by making rounds, involvement in performance improvement endeavors, and conducting assessments.
