Shifa International Hospitals Ltd, a premier tertiary care hospital in Pakistan requires an experienced professional who has hands-on knowledge and expertise in training and development of human resources. Duties and Responsibilities - Research, design & develop relevant training materials for effective and result oriented trainings.
- Monitor & coordinate through T&D team all OJT (on-job-trainings) conducted from time to time at departmental level.
- Organize in-house management training events on soft skills and outsource trainings which are technical in nature or require external expertise
- Responsible for planning, coordinating and organizing training events for senior management in their respective field to enhance their skills and improve productivity.
- Conduct TNA for management & non-management staff.
- Conduct mystery shopping technique to check employee professionalism & code of conduct during post training period.
- Supervise ongoing (in-house/external) technical training & personal development sessions for staff members.
- Keep abreast with the latest training tools and techniques to yield maximum output from trainings.
- Coordinate / conduct meetings with Department Heads to discuss their departmental staff training needs and enhance their skills/competencies through in-house trainings, counseling, external trainings etc.
- Liaison on with External Training Institutions/External Trainers for training of employees to foster professionalism and meet operational requirements.
- Responsible for professional networking and representing SIH at different National and International forums.
- Recruit and select candidates for T&D function.
- Assign work, set priorities, evaluate performance; assesses training needs of team through performance evaluation.
- Manage and overview all critical HR activities related to other HR functions.
- To manage & monitor other departmental staff working in different HR functions.
- Supervise timely completion and implementation of HR development plans, policies/procedures and ensure that they are aligned with the goals and objectives of SIH.
- Monitor HR or other departmental policies, procedures & objectives in terms of development plans, budget and standards.
- Provide professional advice and guidance to internal customers at all levels on HR related issues.
- Responsible to maintain a harmonious work environment in the hospital by ensuring that grievances are handled efficiently with minimum distress to employees.
Eligibility Criteria - MBA/MSc (HRM) with at least 4-6 years of experience in a similar capacity from a reputable organization.
- Candidates from a health care setup will be preferred.
