Job Overview: The PPC Analyst would report directly to the PPC Lead and will be responsible to extensively analyze and interpret data using different analysis tools such as Google analytics and other matrices to help the PPC lead in indentifying beneficial opportunities for running paid online campaigns for existing and upcoming product offerings and services provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Web Analyst with min 3+ years active web analytics experience (e-commerce experience preferred)
- Expert in Google and other analytical tools.
- Basic understanding of web analytics tool implementation. General HTML/javascript knowledge a plus
- General understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce retailing and media landscape.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
- Experience using data to provide valuable actionable insights based on business goals
- Passion for problem solving and enthusiasm for data-driven story telling. A self-starter who proactively seeks out projects to benefit themselves as well as the company as a whole.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate highly technical concepts and data driven insights to various audiences in a clear, concise, and compelling manor.
- Expert of Microsoft Excel.
- Online e-commerce retailing, advertising or campaign management experience 3+ years
- Agency management: Direct or indirect management of internal and/or external agencies
- Ecommerce background preferred, especially in retail.
- Deep knowledge of SEM and affiliate program management, PPC and online paid social marketing.
- Experience with web analytics, both building tracking structures and reporting (Coremetrics, Google Analytics and other analytical tools).
- BBA in I.T. or related field required, MBA preferred.
- Able to demonstrate experience of implementing digital marketing campaigns and undertaking campaign analysis.
- Experience using a specific online marketing discipline (email marketing, paid search, affiliate marketing, social media).
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to develop relationships with colleagues and clients quickly.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills, and an attention to detail.
- Competent in Excel and other Office products.
- A good knowledge of online marketing channels, and desire to learn more as the industry evolves.
- Have the personal drive, inquisitive nature, and initiative to bring about change and help improve the performance of the ecommerce website
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams. Consistently uses communications and presentation skills to influence outcomes. Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively. Ability to problem-solve and drive towards resolution. Ability to write focused, strategic briefs, and evaluate creative and marketing programs against strategy. Strong analytical and measurement/tracking skills. Conduct analysis and present data and findings clearly, concisely and accurately. Be able to draw meaningful conclusions and indicated actions, and set performance benchmarks.
- Ability to manage time, including balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to identify or implement systems and process improvements.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Prove ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and agencies, both in person and remotely.
- Change management: Ability to work in a changing environment.
