POSITION SUMMARY: Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates content systems and user needs. Participates in system design and architecture to parallel overall business strategies. Uses knowledge of commonly-used relational database concepts, practices, and procedures to provide support for data transformation, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user support. PRINCIPAL DUTIES o Assists in identifying and implementing tasks and technical requirements for assigned (groups) system enhancements. Provides predictive caution if tasks will not be completed on time. o Work with cross-team resources involved in an assigned project and completes tasks for successful completion of project. o Creates specifications for each release and enhancement. Works with development staff to develop enhancement in a timely fashion. o Tests enhancements pre- and post-development to make sure system meets end user needs, meets specifications and is error free. Assures quality control including regularly updating and maintaining procedures. o Gathers feedback from aligned content groups for future enhancements and ways to increase timeliness, accuracy, relevance, and comprehensiveness. Acts as a liaison between content groups and developers to correct bugs in systems and follows up with end users. o Provides technical and functional support. Provides training and top tier support for clients. Provides product specific training to SNL employees. |
