| Job Description: |
|
Network and system support including installation, configuration and maintenance of network switches, wireless access points, network outlets etc
Configuration and troubleshooting of In-house Telephone exchange (PABX).
Hardware and Operating System performance tuning.
System trouble shooting through out the organization.
LAN/Internet Access Troubleshooting.
Identification and installation of different tools and software to improve the overall infrastructure of organization.
Keeping all servers, computer systems, and devices updated with latest software patches, upgrades, and anti-virus definitions.
Monitor installation and usage of unauthorized software programs.
Monitor and report Internet access for improper usage like disallowed websites, FTP access etc.
Monitor Internet Access outages, communicate with ISPs customer support and help desk and troubleshoot the internet access issues
Troubleshoot issues related to software installations, internet access, Firewall, Active Directory Group Policies etc.
Installation, Configuration and maintenance of anti-spy ware, anti-ad ware and anti-spam software on servers and computer systems.
Re-installation/Re-imaging of computer systems and servers.
Maintain inventory of all computer accessories, CDs/DVDs etc.
Download software requested from all concerned employees

- Network related knowledge/certification/course
- Knowledge about the Microsoft servers and their configuration
- BCS/BS in Computer Sciences, B.E in Computer Engineering
- MCS/MS in Computer Sciences/Engineering
- LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet switching
- Knowledge of the underlying functions of network protocols/applications
- Good Analytical and Creative thinking skills
- Good Interpersonal and Motivational skills
- Experienced in coordination and team work
