|
The Database Administrator will be responsible to administer databases, data integration systems, Data warehouses, master data management and business intelligence systems. Required Skills/Experience:
- At least 4 years of experience in the same capacity
- Good understanding of architecture of at least 1 major RDBMS
- Experience in administration of at least 1 major RDMBS that includes:
- Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security;
- Monitoring and tuning performance to provide fast query responses to front-end users;
- Refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements
- Defining and maintaining storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures
- Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security including database user management, user permissions and privileges
- Data protection handling
- Sound knowledge of clustering
- Good communication skills
- BS/MS degree in CS/IT
Nice to Have:- Prior experience of managing data warehouse
- International customer handling experience
- Experience of BI tools
