This position reports to the Head Supply Chain and directs all activities in the facility necessary to operate and support a warehouse. The Manager warehouse will perform a variety of management and administrative functions to ensure effective warehouse management. This position will collaboratively work with the team and staff to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and controls are maintained within the store and subject to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage waste stores in multiple locations with extremely high level of inventory accuracy.
- Mentors and develops team members for future roles within the company.
- Determines work schedules and assigns areas of responsibility to store personnel.
- Establishes and controls handling and storage plans and procedures.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of store activities and store personnel hours and continually reviews performance.
- Provides direction and guidance to staff on the vision, policies and procedures.
- Streamlines operating procedures by identifying and eliminating redundant processes.
- Insures the security and proper management of the warehouse equipment and materials received and stored.
Experience:
- At least 3 to 4 years of warehousing experience with additional experience in waste management (paper waste, plastic waste, fabric waste etc.).
- Inventory planning systems experience required.
- Material planning a plus.
Skills
Must have experience of working in an ERP environment.
Self-motivated, passionate and able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Enjoy working in a team environment and strong attention to detail is a must.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must be highly organized and process-oriented.
Should have the ability to supervise and manage teams.
Ability to work and manage the responsibilities at multiple locations.
Should be aware of waste management principles and concepts.
