|
Must have: - 4+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server with experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 ( DBA)
- Database design (normalization, experience with VLDB);
- Experience working with .NET developers to develop tools and API for database access;
Nice to have: - 2+ years of experiencing administrating MS SQL Servers in a production environment
- Proven experience using T-SQL and query optimization
- Backups, performance and transaction monitoring, performance tuning and recommendations
- Partitioning, indexing, query optimization
- SQL Server replication, mirroring/log shipping, DTS and SQL Server clusters
- SSIS package implementation and design
- Create and maintain database policies, standards and overall documentation
- Test and document best practices, and conduct proactive performance, capacity and availability audits
- Experience with Microsoft networking, Windows 2008 servers, SQL Server 2008 R2, .NET framework is preferred.
