Must have: --4+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server with experience with SQL Server 2008 R2; --Database design (normalization, experience with VLDB); --Experience working with .NET developers to develop tools and API for database access; Nice to have: --2+ years of experiencing administrating MS SQL Servers in a production environment; --Proven experience using T-SQL and query optimization; --Backups, performance and transaction monitoring, performance tuning and recommendations; --Partitioning, indexing, query optimization; --SQL Server replication, mirroring/log shipping, DTS and SQL Server clusters; --SSIS package implementation and design; --Create and maintain database policies, standards and overall documentation; --Test and document best practices, and conduct proactive performance, capacity and availability audits; --Experience with Microsoft networking, Windows 2008 servers, SQL Server 2008 R2, .NET framework is preferred.
