| Job Description: |
|
- Testing activities for multiple applications/releases.
- Work closely with developers to design test criteria.
- Design/execute automated test using automation tools
- Knowledge of full lifecycle testing and development methodologies applied in a software product environment.
- Act as consultant to quality methods, processes and tools.
- Prepare documents, test cases and QA related document.
- Documentation
- Partnering with development, product management and the business to understand system requirements and execute component level testing
Skill Sets and Additional Experience The ideal candidate should be well-versed with basic concepts of SQA. Graduates from reputable universities - BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- Experience in QA and development will be an advantage
- Excellent academic background in QA and Development
- Good knowledge of Databases, Web applications, desktop application
- Exposure of automated software test tools and their applications. (Selenium, Test Manager, LAB Manager Etc.)
- Knowledge and Expert in variety of test techniques including manual, scripted, performance and environmental testing.
- Knowledge in-depth of bug tracking reporting & validation based on project goals & priorities
- Thorough knowledge of SQL, RDBMS and Programming tools
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, procedures, and Software Development Lifecycle
- Understanding of developing test cases, release notes etc
- And have good idea on Load Testing, Stress Testing and Performance Testing.
- Good team player
- Ability to work under Pressure and ready to accept challenges
- Feasible to work in rotating shifts if required
- Strong documentation skills
- Attention to details
- Excellent Communication and Verbal skills (Having a British or American accent or foreign return will be an advantage)
