Accounts Assistant

A small / medium engineering manufacturing enterprise, in business since over 20 years, with staff of approximately 50 and offices in Karachi and Lahore, requires an ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT with the proven capability to manage work efficiently, initiative and can meet the deadlines of task in efficient manner.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

· Generation of Sales Invoices and proper management of supporting documents.

· Update customer outstanding and follow up for recoveries.

· Coordinate and follow up with sales and support staff for invoicing.

· Bank Reconciliation and management of bank deposits.

· Payment and filing of Income Tax withholding.

· Perform other duties as assigned or required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

· Minimum 2 years experience in accounts function.

· Minimum B.COM / BBA.

· Knowledge and ability to use Ms Office and other accounting software (experienced in QUICKBOOKS will be given preference).

· Practical knowledge of Sales Tax and Income Tax.

· Initiative and can perform task in responsible manner.

· Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally

· Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meets deadline of task assigned.

REFERENCES

· Short listed personnel will be required to supply authentic references that can be approached for independent verification of antecedents.
