Job Description:

The Director, M&E will be responsible for developing and tracking the performance management plan for the SRP. The D, M&E will regularly generate analysis on project performance and quality, and recommend course corrections for meeting the qualitative and quantitative program targets. The position requires extensive travel to districts. The applicant must possess excellent analytical, interpersonal and writing skills. Travel to the project districts will be required. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field from an accredited university
  • Minimum 10 years experience of developing and executing research, monitoring and evaluation strategies in the development sector, preferably in the area of education
  • Competence in qualitative and quantitative study design and implementation, with children as the major focus
  • Experience using data analysis packages such as SPSS and database management systems
  • Experience in developing and coordinating data collection, processing and analysis systems
  • Familiarity with US Donor Monitoring and Evaluation protocols
  • Demonstrated experience of using participatory monitoring and evaluation techniques
  • Strong computer literacy skills required in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, web browsers, and email
  • Excellent communications and writing ability; working knowledge of Sindhi is desirable
